Recently, Mr. Bojangles and I ventured north so I could photograph the adoptable rabbits of Buckeye House Rabbit Society. We shared a few photos of our trip to see Lake Erie in a recent Project 52 blog post. Buckeye House Rabbit Society is a chapter of the international organization, House Rabbit Society, a group comprised of rabbit rescues around the world. If you want to know anything about adopting or living with a rabbit, visit their website to take advantage of their educational resources.
Our first stop of the weekend was to Fremont, Ohio, and the home of a lovely couple, the Zimmermans. They were kind enough to extend us their hospitality for the night. Mr. Bojangles had a fantastic time running around with their five dogs (four of them were big dogs, too.) While he was off having fun with his new friends, I was photographing a dozen adorable rabbits.
Sunday we headed off to Cleveland to photograph some more adorable, adoptable bunnies. Afterward, we visited my friend Scott, a Cleveland area wedding photographer. Then it was back home from our whirlwind trip.
If you are interested in adopting any of these adorable rabbits, visit the Buckeye House Rabbit Society website for more information and their adoption process.
