Fall is fast approaching and Pet Love Photography will be participating in quite a few events around the Greater Cincinnati area. We recently added an “events” tab to our website, so that you can easily see where we’re going to be when there are special events going on.
First up is the Second Anniversary Customer Appreciation Event at EarthWise Pet Supply at Harper’s Point. There will be a lot of fun activities and special deals going on during this two-day event this weekend, Saturday, September 17th and Sunday, September 18th. Pet Love Photography will be there both days taking pictures. We will also be offering the opportunity to book a special, limited edition pet mini session AND we are giving away a $300 gift certificate. You can head to EarthWise now to get your entry in for the gift certificate drawing or sign up during the event. You can check out all the event details below.
Next on our list is the YWCA’s Bark Out Against Battering Pet Fest. This annual event is put on to raise awareness of the connection between domestic violence and animal abuse. The YWCA works with the SPCA Cincinnati to provide protective shelter for pets when their female owner has to stay in a shelter to get away from a domestic violence situation.
Bark Out Against Battering features a pet parade, costume contest for your dogs, vendors, doggy trick-or-treating, pet adoptions, food trucks, the Ruff Ruff Raffle, and more. The Bark Out Against Battering Pet Fest will be held October 1st from 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM at Washington Park in Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine. Come out for the fun and stop by the Pet Love Photography booth for special offers and doggy treats!
We also have another fun pet event lined up for October 15th from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Woofstock 2016 Bark for Life Northern Kentucky. Woofstock 2016 is a noncompetitive walk where you can walk with your dog to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society and their fight against cancer. Finding a cure for cancer is both critical for humans and canines, as the two are closely related. The event features contests, vendors, games, and more. Don’t forget to stop by the Pet Love Photography booth as we will be taking pictures in our psychedelic photobooth. So, get your dog team together and come walking for a good cause!
While we won’t have a booth at our next event, we did make a donation to the silent auction and we’re on the planning committee. Petcasso 2016 is a fundraiser to benefit Pets in Need of Greater Cincinnati, a veterinary clinic serving low-income individuals with affordable veterinary care and food assistance. Petcasso takes place Saturday, November 19th, from 7:00-10:00 PM at The Carnegie Center of Columbia Tusculum, a cool old building that was built in 1906 as a public library donated by the noted industrialist and philanthropist, Andrew Carnegie. Petcasso features a buffet of delicious food, an open bar, live music, and both silent and life auctions to benefit Pets in Need. Currently, they are looking for donation and sponsorships for the event. Tickets for the event will be on sale soon and are $85 (of which $45 is tax-deductible).
If you are involved with an organization that is having a pet-themed event, we’d love to participate or make a donation. Give us a call at 513-288-1650 or send us an email to suzi [at] petlovephotography.com to let us know how we can help.
