It’s Week 13 of professional pet photography blog circle Project 52 and our theme for the week is “Day in the Life.” Unfortunately, the weather was just not cooperating this week to do what I wanted to do and show one of the fun outing days in Mr. Bojangles’ life, so we had to compromise and show a shortened version.

With all the rain this past week we couldn’t get out to any of our favorite park locations and it was just too damp to take a nice walk, so we improvised and went shopping, instead! Mr. Bojangles loves to go for car rides. In order to keep him secure in the car, he is tethered to his Kurgo Rover car seat. Since it was raining, we decided to go to Mr. Bojangles’ favorite store for treats, EarthWise Pet. He loves to go there and see all of his friends (except for his nemesis, Gary, the shop cat.) Gary and Mr. Bojangles have cultivated a mutual dislike of each other, but on this trip, we didn’t see Gary, so all was well.

Mr. Bojangles even got a bag of his favorite treats! I call these Sojos Simply Turkey treats “doggy crack.” As my dogs go completely nuts for them…even Diana, the cat, likes them. Mr. Bojangles is super picky about his treats, so I’m always happy when he ends up liking something and these treats are definitely his favorites. They only have one ingredient and that’s 100% turkey, so I can feel good about giving them to him, too.

After our visit to EarthWise Pet was over, we headed to Office Depot to shop for some office supplies for the Pet Love Photography office. I can never seem to find a pen that works when I need it, so I bought several packs of pens to keep me well-stocked for a while.

For another day in the life of another pet, head down under to see Lynda Mowat from Heartstrings Photography based in Hamilton, New Zealand, then visit the rest of the blog circle until you end up back here.
