It’s Week 46 of professional pet photography blog circle Project 52 and our theme for the week was “adventure.” Adventure can mean many things to different people. Mr. Bojangles has always been up for any adventure, which to him is anywhere we go whenever we go out. I’ve always wanted to travel to far off places with Mr. Bojangles and then photograph him along the way. However, as the years have gone by we’ve not really gone many places although we have gone on many adventures. These days, our adventures have mostly been limited to a few local parks. However, that’s not the only wahy he can go on an adventure, there’s always a virtual adventure through the magic of photoshop.

Because my schedule has been kind of full these last few months not only with my “Tails of Cincinnati” book project but also with my other job of running CincyPet Magazine, I haven’t had a lot of time to devote to doing these weekly blog posts, so I am going to put forth my mea culpa in using a previous virtual adventure.  And, of course, being in the middle of a worldwide pandemic kind of puts a damper on any kind of real travel or adventure. This is one of my favorite series of creative editing when Mr. Bojangles traveled to Paris.

This adventure was inspired by the black and white striped sweater I bought for him and led to the red beret being added to his wardrobe.

When in Paris, one must—of course—visit a Parisian cafe for some alfresco dining.

And no visit to Paris would be complete without a visit to the Eiffel Tower. Although, oddly enough, I had a friend who visited Paris and did not visit nor even come close to seeing the Eiffel Tower.

The following image is my favorite of the series with Mr. Bojangles having his portrait drawn by a street artist in Montmartre.

Next up in the blog circle is Elaine Tweedy of I Got the Shot Photography, adventuring out to capture pets and their people in Northeastern PA and surrounding areas, after you visit her head around the rest of the blog circle until you end up back here.

If you would like to book an adventure session for your pet, virtual or otherwise, give us a call at 513-655-5696 to book today.
