Happy Halloween! It’s Week 44 of professional pet photography blog circle Project 52 and our theme was “boo!” Halloween is probably my favorite holiday (closely followed by Christmas.) I love all the spooky decorations and costumes and candy…did I mention the costumes? I especially love thinking up creative scenarios for my dogs for Halloween. Unfortunately, this year none of the fun Halloween pet costume contests have been happening, so I didn’t get the chance to think up any creative outfits for them. Last year Lola won a costume contest at playgroup and came in the top three in another contest at a brewery. In the past, Mr. Bojangles has won several costume contests. I also have quite a few pictures of him I’ve done in costumes, as well as Paco. However, now that Mr. Bojangles has retired from his modeling career, Lola is carrying the costume torch.
It was a cold, blustery, and rainy day, so perfect weather for the photoshoot for this week’s topic. We headed to our favorite local park and let the magic happen.
Next up in the blog circle is Tracy Allard of Penny Whistle Photography fetching pet and family portraits in Coppell, Carrollton, and the greater Dallas – Fort Worth metroplex, after you visit her head around the rest of the blog circle until you end up back here.
