This week is Week 14 of professional pet photography blog circle Project 52 and the subject of color. Our assignment for this week was to “Consider Your Color Palette.” We were to consider how using a consistent color palette in our work helps create a unifying element. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t so cooperative this past week, so I couldn’t do what I had planned and ended up doing my images in my home studio. While these images are of the same subject (Mr. Bojangles, of course) and with the same set, they are not different enough to represent a theme in a body of work. They are, however, representative of how I like to use brightly colored images in my work. It also gave me an opportunity to take more pictures using my new brick backdrop, which I really love, as well as my new metal pail.

Now to see more color palettes, visit Little White Dog Photography – Sioux Falls, SD, and then around the rest of the blog circle until you end up back here.
