It’s Friday, so that means another professional pet photography Project 52 blog circle post. It’s Week 31 and our theme for the week is “fill the frame.” Filling the frame means that your subject fills most of the dimensions of your image.

We decided to have a rainy day adventure and went to Devou Park in Covington after we had some amazing tacos from La Mexicana in Newport (we dined in our car to limit our interaction with other people.) It was a steady, moderate rain but Mr. Bojangles and Lola have raincoats so are mostly okay with walking the rain. Normally, there’s an amazing view of Downtown Cincinnati from Devou, but because of the rain, the city was shrouded in a heavy mist. The rain, however, did make a perfect day to take pictures as we had nice, even light.

While Mr. Bojangles has mainly retired from his job as official spokesdog, he will still work, on occasion, with the right incentive (treats.) Lola, the new official spokesdog model usually works for kitty treats, but she made do with the dog treats I had with me.

The shadow you can barely see behind Lola in this first image is the skyline of Downtown Cincinnati.

Next up in the blog circle is Cahlean with About A Dog Photography in Central Minnesota, after you visit her head around the rest of the blog circle until you end up back here.

If you would like to book your session at Devou Park give us a call at 513.655.5696.

BTW, here is a picture of my amazing tacos.
