It’s Week 47 of professional pet photography blog circle Project 52 and the year is winding down with only a few more weeks to go. This week our theme is “gratitude.” At this point, I’m grateful that none of us have been sick and that the year is ending soon. Hopefully, we will have a much more positive and “normal” year in 2021. I’d certainly be grateful for that. Obviously, with Thanksgiving coming up, we take time to think about those things for which we are grateful. One of the the things I am most grateful for is Mr. Bojangles. He has been my best little companion for going on ten years and I am grateful for every moment we get to spend together. I’m also grateful that we have a favorite park we can go to for walks and it’s generally not crowded with people so it’s easy to keep our distance from others. Over the years, I’ve taken many pictures of Mr. Bojangles at our favorite park and I’ve always been grateful that we have our nifty posing log. I’ve shared many a post over the years with our posing log as the location for our photoshoots, including one earlier this year about it as our favorite location. I’m grateful for it being there all these years. Sadly, it is decomposing as all things in the forest eventually do; the bark came off earlier this year and it looks like the bugs, weather, and critters of the forest have been taking their toll on it. This week’s photo session in our favorite location comprises images taken with three different lenses.

What are you grateful for? Tell us in the comments below.

Up next in the blog circle is Angela Schneider of Noses & Toes Pet Photography, finding gratitude in the hills of Spokane. After you visit with Angela, head around the rest of the blog circle until you end up back here.
