It’s Week 40 of professional pet photography blog circle Project 52, that means there are only 12 weeks left in the year! How time flies. Our theme for this week is orange. Normally, in the Fall I would love this theme, but so far the colors are staying pretty green, just as the temperatures are staying pretty warm. Fall is my favorite season, because of the cooler weather and the colors when the leaves turn. So far, I’m still waiting for both. *sigh*

Since Mother Nature isn’t providing us much of an Autumnal palette, I had to add my own orange color to the pictures for this week. Fortunately, both Mr. Bojangles and Paco each have an orange harness from The Worthy Dog, that served as our spot of orange. The first pictures were taken near the dog park we like to go to. I was hoping there would be some orange around, but the best I got was the golden color of the wildflowers…weeds…allergenic plant life. (That’s the other bad thing about this weather we’ve been having, my allergies have been off the charts.)

Because Mr. Bojangles was being slightly less than cooperative at posing for pictures (we’d already been to playgroup and the dog park), I decided to take him out for another photo shoot at our favorite local park…still in all it’s green glory.

As you can see, Mr. Bojangles was being much more cooperative with his posing on this day.

Orange you glad (I couldn’t resist) you can move onto the next blog, which is Jessica Wasik with Bark & Gold Photography, celebrating the joy and love between Pittsburgh pets and their people. After that, head around the rest of the blog circle until you end up back here.
