It’s Week 8 of professional pet photography blog circle Project 52 and our theme is “silhouette.” I was hoping for some great weather and the opportunity to capture a silhouette with a fantastic sunset in the background but, alas, it was not to be. We did, however, have one decent day where Mr. Bojangles and I were able to head out to our favorite local park. Unfortunately, I didn’t really spot andy exciting locations to do a silhouette image in this park, so we went to the park across the street as I had the idea to use the playground playset to get Mr. Bojangles up high enough for the sun to be behind him. My idea sort of worked.

As you can see in this image, Mr. Bojangles had his tongue out (perfect, since we took this picture on #TongueOutTuesday), because we had just walked through our favorite park, the sun was beating down on him on the metal equipment, and it was almost 80 degrees! (Yes, it *is* still February.)

For more silhouettes, head over to see Gott Dog Photography in Raleigh, NC, then around the rest of the blog circle until you end up back here.
