Happy September 1! Today we are at Week 35 of our professional pet photography blog circle Project 52 and the theme of “street.” We were tasked with making sure our images included a street. I decided to go for a little old world charm and head to Mariemont for our session. Each of the images below was shot with a different lens, which made for a fun experiment this week.
First up, is Mr. Bojangles as shot with the Nikon 70-200mm lens. Here he is at the crosswalk of a little urban area. Even though he was right by the street, there was very little traffic (safety first).
Next we went around the corner to the stoop of a building, where you can still see the street in the background. The cars you see were all parked. This image was taken with a Nikon 50mm lens.
Finally, even though you can’t see the actual street in this last image, taken with a manual focus 14mm lens from Rokinon, it shows the lovely little garden oasis in the middle of the street. You can also see what a gorgeous day we had, although it was a bit hotter than I was expecting (which is why Mr. Bojangles has his tongue out in every picture.)
To find out what the word is on the next street, head over to see St. Cloud, MN, dog photographer About A Dog Photography, and then take a tour of the other streets in this blog circle until you end up back at our own little urban oasis.
