Week 37 of professional pet photography blog circle Project 52 is appropriate as the summer heat and humidity have returned for our theme of “warmth.” Even though the weather turned warm again, I decided to go in a different direction with the theme (maybe because I’m really tired of the heat, and—especially—the humidity.)

Not that I’m wishing it were winter already, but I’m certainly all for some cooler weather. We had a really nice spell of less humid weather not that long ago and it was so nice. However, in anticipation of the cooler weather that will be coming (eventually) I decided that Mr. Bojangles would express the theme of warmth with his cozy new Worthy Dog sweater we purchased a few weeks ago on a shopping trip to the mall.

And, even though Stella was a major pain in my butt today when I was setting up my impromptu  “studio” in my living room. I decided if I couldn’t buy her off with biscuits, I would use her presence on set to my advantage. So, for good measure, I also include an image of Stella expressing the theme of warmth through her big smile (she’s always happy when food is around).

Now to get some more warmth, head over to Trina Bauer Photography in State College, PA, and then around the rest of the blog circle until you end up back here.
