It’s Week 32 of professional pet photography blog circle Project 52 and our theme is “wide open.” In photography shooting wide open is shooting at the widest aperture (smallest f-stop.) For this week’s challenge, I used my 50mm lens which at its widest aperture is f/1.4. All of the images this week were shot with the following settings: 1/320. f/1.4, 400 ISO.

This week I photographed some rescue pets for Three Sisters Pet Rescue/Ohio Hound Rescue. Among the kitties I photographed were two orange kittens (which are my favorite), so I decided to use these two adoptable, adorable kittens for my post this week. Here are sisters Vicky and Louise.

If you are interested in adopting either Vicky or Louise, contact Three Sisters for more information.

Now visit Mikahla Dorey, Pet Photographer in Nova Scotia Canada, then check out the rest of the blog circle until you end up back here.

Don’t forget to come out to see us tomorrow at the O.F.F. Market at Madtree Brewing in Oakley.
