Back in the Fall, I started volunteering to take pictures with Louie’s Legacy Animal Rescue in Cincinnati. The day after Christmas I got my first foster dog. Then, in January, I watched another foster’s foster dog while she went on vacation. Paco stayed with us for about five days and a bromance was born. He fit in right away with Mr. Bojangles and even Stella didn’t mind him. The weekend Paco was with us, we even took him to chihuahua playgroup, where he got along really well with everyone and even found a girlfriend. I didn’t want to give Paco back to his foster mom! I spent the next couple of weeks thinking about Paco, and decided to adopt him during the My Furry Valentine adoption event. So, Paco has now been a member of our pack for the last month.
Paco was rescued from a hoarding situation and I got to take his picture the day he came into the LLAR family.
When he visited us in January, it was the perfect time to get some new glamour shots for his adoption album.
Mr. Bojangles loved his new bro Paco, and wanted to get in on the photo action.
I really think that Paco is going to fit right into this photographer’s family…what do you think?
Welcome to the family, Paco! We are so happy you are here to stay!
Louie’s Legacy Animal Rescue is a foster-based rescue based out of Cincinnati with a satellite chapter in New York/New Jersey. While they, of course, want all their dogs and cats to be adopted, the first step is finding a foster family so that pets can be saved. If you would like to foster with LLAR, head over to their website and fill out the application.
